Sorry for my lack of posting. I feel as if I have had lots to say this past month, but every time I sit down I either want to work on some lesson plans or go to sleep, and even now I need to get some shut eye as I have a 38k run tomorrow and a Janet Jackson concert to attend to!I am now entering into my 5th week of my LP placement, and I have to say that it has been such an amazing experience! I love the school, my class, my associate teacher (who has been a huge support and friend), and everything in between! Though it has been a long time since I have felt this tired, and am on the verge of adding coffee (aka b
urnt toast) to my diet, I have a sense of peace knowing that I have made the right decision to go down this new path. (To all the teachers out there...I know I am in the "honeymoon" phase and you probably think I am nuts...but it's just the way I feel, and I am excited about it!). I have yet to find out about my second placement, but I will definitely be sad to leave my old hood!...and so the post continues....
I was going to update everyone on the NKOTB concert, but Heather did an awesome job of summing it up (my two pennies)! It was a great night, a night to celebrate the time when we were
13, and though I didn't know as many words as i thought I would, I was humming and hollering when my boys, especially Joe, took the mic! "I feel like a nerd!...love it!"Ps. 3 weeks until the Toronto Marathon! Good luck to the Waterfront runners for their race tomorrow!
